⸻ Title: Wonderful stay in Edinburgh – Great staff, location, and comfort! Review: I had a fantastic stay at the Aparthotel Holyrood in Edinburgh. The location is excellent – peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the Royal Mile and the city’s main attractions. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including a functional kitchen and cozy living space. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Everyone I interacted with was professional and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. I highly recommend the Aparthotel Holyrood to anyone visiting Edinburgh – it offers comfort, convenience, and top-notch service in a fantastic location. I’d definitely stay here again

Unfortunately, our stay at Holyrood Aparthotel was very disappointing and did not meet expectations at all. 🔴 The photos online are misleading — they make the place look much better than it actually is. 🔴 The furniture is old, the bedding is worn out, and the room smelled terrible. 🔴 There’s no air conditioning, and no proper ventilation. The windows don’t open fully, and the little they do, they shut immediately. 🔴 The hallways smell awful and the carpet is clearly not clean. 🔴 Elevator is outdated and doesn’t feel safe. 🔴 They charged us £50 as a deposit, promised a refund, but nothing has been returned yet. 🔴 Hotel is in a back alley, not a good location, and no parking — we received a £100 fine just for stopping. 🔴 The sink is unbelievably small, and the room has no view except for a dark alleyway. 🔴 Though we booked 4 nights, we reduced our stay to just 1 night. If another place had been available, we wouldn’t have stayed even one night. ⭐️⭐️ The only positive side of our experience was the reception staff. The ladies at the front desk were very kind, helpful, and professional. They brought us fans to help with the heat and did their best to support us. 📍This place is rated as 4 stars, but it does not deserve even one. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Do not stay here - the marketing and photos is sensational because boy did it cover up the truth! This place was dirty with black mould in the bathroom - everywhere! The floor was black and the general facilities and building unsafe. We did not feel safe in this building and would not recommend. For over $500 AUD a night it was absolute robbery! Plus charging a fortune for parking was an extra blow. Legit taking your life into your own hands.
