Ok to sleep for a couple of nights, but bring your own cutlery and washing up bits as they didn't provide any of that. The placed looked modern on the surface but finish was lacking quality. Plug socket in bathroom had a gap to the tiles and the towel rail was hanging by its last wall plug. Lift was temperamental. Don't wait at the reception, as it's not in use either. Good location for walking to the centre of town, but did mean on the both nights there were some loud youths making a noise outside in the street at 3am. Low price, so get what you pay for but not somewhere I'd stay again.
The receptionist Rafaelle tends to be agressive. He screams in Italian at foreign guests and refusses to use a translator. Seems, he really, really dislikes foreigners at this hotel... It was an extremely flustrating experience. He also tried to extract additional money from us - for demages that were already in the rooms when we arrived. Fortunatly we took pictures when we arrived, so we could proove that we didn’t do these demages. Moreover, the receptionist used to come into our rooms without our permission: he just used his own keys, eg when I was in the shower. He made a mess in our rooms, he took away some chairs, exchanged a sofa into an older one (!), took pots from the kitchen in our appartment… all with no explanation, so each time I came back from a walk in the city, I wasn’t sure what will be different in my room this time. It was extremely stressful. I was here with 18 colleagues for one month - unfortunately we paid in advance so we couldn’t afford to leave and book another hotel.
The worst hotel to ever stay in. What you see on the internet what it’s like is all false. We booked 9 days to stay there. After being in the room we noticed things that were not up to our standards, such as no blankets for the bed, dirty shower with mold, no glasses or cups for coffee or dinner ware. Went to the reception and told them we would stay that evening but going to cancel for the other 8 days. Had to pay up front before we got the keys to the room. Asked for a refund for the other 8 days and they refused to refund the money. This hotel should not be posted on the travel site as a 4.1 Star hotel, it shouldn’t be posted at all. My card was processed right away and the bank confirmed it went through they got their money but now I’m out around 600.0 Euros.
