Home Hotel Majoren

We stayed one night, and traveled in the next day. The location is great. The hotel is close to train and bus station. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet at night. The very minor issue was that we found a few small living insects in bathroom. However, the room, in general, is very clean.

Really cozy hotel with well furnished rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great and they offer different snacks, coffee and tea throughout your stay. They also have a small workout room and a sauna. What I didn't like is that no one made my bed or took out the trash during my four night stay which is quite strange.

Clarion Collection Majoren is right at the centre of the small town Skövde. You are moments away from shopping and restaurants and the central train station. The is also a big public car park at the back of the hotel. The rooms are named after military people from the nearby garrison true to the hotel's name and heritage. The lobby has a small bar and the seating areas are used for breakfast and the free evening meal they serve. The rooms are average size and have a modern design, however there are two buildings so you might have to walk outside to get to your room. Overall a good hotel by the station.
