Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! Everything was clean, pleasant, and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious – breakfast had a wide selection, all fresh and tasty. Dinner was also of a very high standard. Big plus for the availability of coffee, tea, and water. The staff were incredibly friendly – especially the lady at the reception, who was exceptionally kind and helpful, but honestly, every team member deserves praise. A truly great hotel ! 👏

I had a wonderful stay at the Clarion Collection Hotel Tapetfabriken in Nacka! The hotel strikes a beautiful balance between modern design and cozy comfort, with thoughtful touches that make it feel both stylish and welcoming. One of the standout aspects of my stay was how accommodating they were to vegan and vegetarian guests. Both the breakfast and complimentary evening meal offered a variety of delicious plant-based options, which made dining easy and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable—always happy to answer questions or check ingredients to ensure everything met my dietary needs. It’s rare to feel this seen and supported as a vegan traveler! The hotel is also perfectly located—just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Sickla, with quick access to public transit that takes you into central Stockholm with ease. It feels like a peaceful retreat from the city without being far from anything. My room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the bed was amazing after long days of exploring. I also appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and its unique history as a former wallpaper factory—it gives the space a real sense of character. I highly recommend Tapetfabriken to anyone visiting Stockholm, especially if you’re plant-based and want a hotel that truly gets it. I’d gladly stay here again!

We were really looking forward to our stay at this hotel, but unfortunately our experience with the booking process was disappointing. Due to personal circumstances, we had to move our entire trip through Sweden to the following month. At every other hotel, changing the dates went smoothly, except here. Nearly a month in advance, we requested to adjust our stay. We also saw there was availability on the new dates and that your page offered a date-change option. However, this was declined, and we were told to contact Booking.com instead. After several phone calls and inconsistent information from Booking.com, we were ultimately forced to cancel. We understand that a date change may not come at the same rate, but the fact that the new total was even higher than cancelling and rebooking ourselves simply made no sense, especially considering that we had valid insurance in place. On top of that, communication from the hotel felt very impersonal throughout. At no point did we feel supported or welcome in the process, and that’s disappointing, especially since we reached out in good faith and well in advance. In the end, we had no choice but to cancel. We were genuinely looking forward to. We sincerely hope that this feedback helps improve the way similar cases are handled in the future.
