Homy Hotel

Good location and close to the MTR station. If you’re on a budget, this place is worth considering. The hotel area is peaceful at night, and there’s a 7-Eleven nearby for added convenience Room condition was a bit underwhelming. It definitely needs refurbishing - the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, and while a portable socket was provided, some switches didn’t work. Fortunately, there’s a working wall plug, so charging devices wasn’t an issue The staff were welcoming, and check-in was smooth. Just a heads up, there’s an additional fee for the tourist tax

The location could not be better - within a minute of the MTR station, trams, 7-eleven, and not far from the Macao and Star ferries either! I stayed in a single windowless room with private bathroom and it was bigger than I expected. The hotel is definitely older and could do with new paint - but it’s clean and tidy. You do hear some noise from neighbouring rooms but this is to be expected. There is filtered cold & hot water in reception, as well as a microwave. My one complaint would be that the shower curtain had some mould on it - this would be easy to fix. Overall, I would stay here again - clean, comfortable & fantastic location.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The facilities were poor, and the environment was unclean. The room was not soundproof at all, and I could hear noise from the neighboring rooms when doors were closed or knocked. The water heater was inconsistent and sometimes didn't work. Additionally, the room had a lingering smell of dampness, and both the bed and desk were dirty. The bathroom was in bad condition, with a stained basin and toilet bowl. The only positive aspect was the location, which was conveniently close to Sheung Wan MTR station. Unfortunately, I will not be returning due to the overall lack of cleanliness and poor facilities
