Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel

The room is very beautiful. However, despite my Elite for life status, the lounge is not free, and the hotel is a huge maze where it's easy to get lost. It loses points for that. On the other hand, the staff is very welcoming, and there is a diver in the aquarium, which is quite fun to watch.

The thoughtful design — soft wood tones, ambient lighting, and subtle nature motifs — brought an immediate sense of calm and retreat. My guestroom was immaculately presented, balancing minimalism with warmth, offering both comfort and style. The M Club Lounge was a highlight. With its curated library, elegant lighting, and refined seating arrangement, it felt more like a private residence than a public lounge. Each detail, from the handcrafted chandeliers to the layered textures of the seating, invited you to linger. The staff there were exceptionally attentive and welcoming — even remembering guests by name. Culinary experiences were delightful throughout my stay. The Hainanese Chicken Rice, enjoyed at the hotel’s in-house restaurant, was fragrant and perfectly executed. Meanwhile, the M Lounge evening offerings were diverse and satisfying: from steamed dim sum and Thai fish cakes to delicate desserts like mini lemon tarts and cream puffs. The presentation and taste were consistent with the hotel’s upscale ethos. Small gestures made a lasting impression — a personalized handwritten welcome note, a beautifully arranged complimentary mini bar selection, and even a seasonal touch with festive sweets in the lounge. These thoughtful additions reflect the Marriott team’s genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. The pool view, framed by modern architectural lines and lush greenery, added a refreshing resort vibe in the heart of the city. Overall; Remained lots of questions… is this Marriott? Really? 1. Rooms were not bad, but the wall was too thin (?) I can hear even normal conversations over the room/ wall. 2. Keys are not working out of no where!??? 3. People are actually smoking in the room and open the room door wide open… WOW
