Hongshan International Hotel

Very pleasant stay. We were there for two nights (though not consecutively). The first night, the housekeeping did neglect their duties. Since we were on a holiday I didn't want to create a fuss. While leaving, the next morning I mentioned this to the floor manager, and she was rightly apologetic and very politely offered a small token gift. The value of the gift is insignificant. It was the manner in which it was offered, was significant. The next time we checked in, this lady came up to us and once again mentioned that there were some fruits in the room to welcome us. The breakfast on both occasions was adequate, though not lavish. The dishes were replenished before empty. The lady on "welcoming" duty was very attentive, and when I asked for something, she was immediately there bedside me to address my query. Basically I prefer vegetarian food, and there are no labels on the cards to indicate whether the dish is vegetarian or contains meat. On the whole, a very pleasant stay.

Very comfortable and well decorated. Good breakfast selection and location.
