This is a beautiful hotel, stlyish, lovely and really comfortable. We had a problem with air conditioning in our room and they upgraded us without any problem. Their reception team are super polite and helpful, as too are the housekeeping staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Room was beautiful except the plug socket was not near the mirror so you had to be a contortionist to dry your hair! Breakfast wasn’t brilliant- food had been sitting in warmer so bacon was dry and black pudding was hard and trying to toast the bread was impossible and several of us gave up. The hotel itself is really well situated and has a lovely bar.
Came here for a birthday weekend away with my partner and we had a lovely time, from when we arrived, till when we left. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, from reception, to the restaurant to the staff in the spa. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need, including robes and slippers, drinks and luxury toiletries, the only reason I didn't give it a 5* is due to the bath in the room being very small. We would definitely stay here again, when visiting the city.
