Horizon Beach Hotel

The hotel was very beautiful – well-maintained with a pleasant atmosphere. Everything was very clean, and the rooms and public areas were regularly cleaned. The staff was always smiling, very friendly, and helpful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was very tasty and diverse. A small downside was that there was no information about allergens or ingredients with the dishes. As a vegan, it was hard to choose suitable food because it wasn’t clear what the dishes contained. It would be very helpful if allergens were listed or at least vegan-friendly options were marked. The family room we stayed in was generally comfortable, but there was an issue with the air conditioning – it was only in one of the rooms, and the other room had no airflow at all, making it hot and stuffy. This made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. The hotel was located in a great area, with many shops within walking distance. The surrounding area was very beautiful and perfect for a casual walk and just enjoying the atmosphere. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and we would definitely recommend the hotel to others!

Perfect hotel for family vacation and couples! A must do for Creta lovers! Very nice view of the whole bay while dining or having breakfast. Food is very good and diverse, rooms are comfortable, although we've had no shower (but bath was good). Rooms are having airco and an outside terras. Rooms and environment were very clean, and also public areas were regularly cleaned. The staff was very friendly. You can have raki, ouzo, beer and wine the whole day which is included in the price. For cocktails you'll have to pay extra. You can have a swim in the bay with very clean azure like water. Or you can swim in the pool. There's even a seperate and quiet swiming pool, just next to rooms in building 7xx. The hotel is just 5' walk away from the town. In the town you can find nice restaurants, bars and stores. Not so touristic. Stalida is about 30' drive from the airport. Also recommanded: jeep safari and a swim at Spelelonga. Very much recommend this place.

Great hotel, super friendly staff. It's a good hotel to go to with your kids. The food in the restaurant has a good variation every day. The rooms are basic but more than enough for a vacation (go out and enjoy the island). The only thing I missed in the hotel is more animation like something simple as a quiz or karaoke night, some activity in the evening. I've been there for 8 days with my family and we would highly recommend it.
