My wife and I are always favored Kai, in its food and service quality. Kai Anjin is no exception, staff are friendly, food is great and seaview room is spectacular. Onsen on the top floor commands a panoramic seaview of Ito. Staff Emily, is courteous and friendly. We have had a wonderful time. Never disappointed staying in Kai
Great hotel, all four food services were amazing. Staff and service were very accommodating. Hotel itself is modern, clean, and relatively quiet. While options were limited at the rooftop snacking area outside the baths, it was fine, I ended up getting a few snacks at shops nearby for my post-bath break. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast for both nights were great. Menus were varied and different each night and food selection contained more than enough calories to fill me up and I eat a decent amount. I felt bad because I had to couldn't finish the pot of rice they provided. The baths themselves were also clean and orderly. Staff frequently came in to clean. Even peak busy time right before dinner wasn't that busy. The hotel location isn't central Ito but Ito isn't big at all. During the day, I was able to walk up down the shoreline. Check out the beer hall down the street called Joynt.
From the time we pulled into the parking lot until our final farewell, we got excellent, excellent service from the staff. Every staff member friendly and helpful. The food - variety, flavor, and presentation - was SUPERB! We enjoyed IPA beer on the lounge deck free-of-charge! On the first floor there is a lovely reading/relaxing lounge stocked with ample good books and the best jazz (on vinyl records no less!). Highly recommended! #thisplacewaslovely
