stayed here for 3 days total. great food and activities here. highly recommend if you wish to visit hamamatsu and nearby areas. staff were especially friendly and welcoming. wish to re-visit here someday.
This was our first time experiencing a Japanese Ryoken. We loved the tea and food! Our kids are picky eaters, but managed to get through a dinner and at least tried the food. They're American kids, what can I say. The location is a bit out of the way from the town center of Hamamatsu. As a family of 4 with luggage, we should have taken a Taxi to the Inn. We didn't realize the buses would be so chaotic and packed with school kids going to the Flower Park that evening. The Hot Springs experience was lovely and exactly what we needed after walking around Tokyo for 5 days. They also have nice cold green tea available to drink before, during, and after your soak. I highly suggest you take advantage of this because it really elevated the experience. The rooms were simple, elegant, and clean. Nothing too fussy. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well.
We had the opportunity for a 2 nights getaway from Tokyo and wanted to experience another Hoshino resort. This is our third KAI resort experience. Everything is truly looked after, service is anticipated and it starts from the minute you enter the property until you leave. Indulge in the world class service that Hoshino Resorts have to offer, the hospitality is one of the very best I have experienced in any hotel or resort that I have visited and you will be too pampered to want to live here forever. Dishes are well prepared with the very best ingredients that is offered in and around the area, Comfortable tatami rooms, private onsen of your own allows you to unwind and relax at your own terms helps to make this resort a perfect getaway anytime of the year. I will definitely visit another Hoshino Resort to continue to experience all they have to offer. The team did not disappoint and I have been highly impressed by the impeccable hospitality during my short getaway.
