Great onsen in a relaxed town. Service was amazing, food was outstanding and facilities were great. I would recommend this place for sure!
We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The rooms, the service, the food, the onsen were all perfection. I wish I was still there
Overall, a very authentic place. However, it could use a refresh. The carpets, walls, and general atmosphere feel worn out. There were noticeable stains on the rugs, my wooden spoons at dinner were rough and splintered, and the walls had scuff marks and stains. The hallway carpets were quite beat up, and the coffee machine wasn’t particularly clean. It’s a great spot for an old-school Japanese experience, but authenticity shouldn’t mean neglect.
