Hoshinoya Bali

Currently checking out of Hoshinoya Bali. This was a phenomenal stay overall. We arrived after dark in the middle of a torrential downpour and they greeted us with umbrellas and a welcome treat. They gave us a tour of the resort as they took as to our room and toured our room as well to be sure we understood how everything worked. The activities free and paid are wonderful. From creating the offerings to the amazing cooking class, everything was enjoyable. Having breakfast in the gazebos overlooking the jungle were a highlight of the trip. The staff and service here is warm and welcoming. Everyone goes above and beyond. Multiple staff members knew our names within a few days. I would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for quiet and serenity in the otherwise hectic Bali.

Hoshinoya Bali is a destination retreat resort if one planned to do nothing but relax. As the location is surrounded by forest & lush landscapes, it is best to just enjoy what nature offers you, & give yourself the space and time to enjoy what it is. The hotel takes good care of me & my family when we were there last week. We didn’t have to worry about our meals as we truly enjoyed the selection of Indonesia, western & Japanese cuisine that they offer. We enjoyed our meals in their beautiful gazebos, in their restaurants, or a cosy in-room meal in our villa. The service staffs are truly thoughtful to our needs. They value our privacy, and took great care of us. They sent our meals to us in heavy rain, & when they saw that we were having cold, they serve us ginger tea to keep us warm. Truly thoughtful. The pool which reminds me of a river, is amazing! I have never been to a pool that has such beautiful landscaping! And after a cold dip in the pool, the hotel’s Japanese bathroom amenities gave me a warm bath. Focusing on the simple & basic things in life, I feel that’s the best thing about a good holiday.

We had a wonderful time. Adi and Novi from F&B were excellent and friendly. Dewi and Desi gave a great Balinese style massage . Tri from reception/ concierge was very thorough. We booked a private car and Gusman our driver was helpful in suggesting the less crowded attractions. Noa performed our morning yoga and offered us a Jamu drink. We also enjoyed the complimentary batik activity. Quiet luxury getaway.
