We had a truly memorable stay at this idyllic hillside retreat. The property is beautifully nestled on a slope, offering breathtaking views that are hard to beat: not only do you have the majestic Mount Fuji right in front of you, but also a serene lake completing the postcard-perfect scenery. The large floor-to-ceiling windows make sure you don’t miss a single moment of this view. Do keep in mind that the layout includes several staircases – something to consider for guests with limited mobility, especially when heading to the reception or the cozy fire pit area. The architecture is minimalist and refined, perfectly blending with the natural surroundings. One of our favorite features was the spacious private terrace, equipped with a comfortable daybed – ideal for lounging and soaking in the atmosphere. In the evening, staff can set up a small fire for you, adding an extra touch of magic to the experience. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need, including sleepwear and a full set of toiletries, so you can travel light. We especially appreciated the in-room coffee setup – a small tip: bring your own milk if you prefer it with your coffee. All in all, a peaceful, luxurious, and well-designed hideaway that invites you to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature. Highly recommended! ⸻
10 stars. The place is absolutely stunning. The service is on another level, they remember who you are from check-in and throughout your stay. It’s calm, spotless, and peaceful. There are so many activities for kids, couples, or families. The pizza workshop was a highlight, the kids loved making their own pizza and eating it afterward. The portion isn’t huge, but it’s just right for a child. Everything is fresh. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing. The rooms are cozy and beautifully designed, with an incredible view of Mount Fuji.
Gorgeous views, lush vegetation all around the resort, and extremely lovely staff. Overall, an extremely serene and restoring experience. The free treats during tea time is a nice touch. Small downside is that the only food options you can easily access are the in-resort restaurants. After they close, you’re left with nothing (room service ordering ends at 5pm). There’s no available food delivery to the resort on any of the usual apps, and the town is a good 8 mins car ride + 10 mins walk away. The 1 convenience store in the town is also almost never open.
