What a beautiful place to stay. Also very accesible for people with limited mobility and wheelchair users (like me). We opted for the romantic package and it was such fantastic value for money. Such a stunning place to escape to. We didn’t realise there was a pool (probably due to COVID it was closed?) however with this addition we will be back for a longer stay. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially couples.
Wonderful setting for a restaurant with its view over the monastery and its extensive exterior courtyard. We were a group of 12 from Belmonte de San José and they looked after us very well. They have a weekday set lunch menu for 20€ with a choice of 3 dishes for each course and the quality is excellent. I particularly enjoyed my "rollitos de ternera" (beef rolls) with a diced raw courgette and carrot filling and the accompanying cheese sauce. The young wine, Coto de Hayas Garnacha/Syrah 2020 was also very good.
I visited the bar and restaurant. It has a very nice decoration and a wonderful atmosphere, so you will feel the emotions of the 13th century monastery.
