A lovely place to stay! I only took a star off the rooms as they are on the simple side - no TV or luxuries but very comfortable. The staff are amazingly kind and friendly and will go above and beyond to help you. The breakfast is great too! Very varied and lots to choose from. It's very cool that you get your own tongs to help yourself to things. You're so close to Plaza mayor and the cathedral too.

The hotel is very convenient for seeing everything in the centre. The multi-storey car parking is literally just below the hotel. Recommend only for small cars as it is very tight cornering. Lift takes you straight up the right level for the hotel either a short walk after that. The staff were lovely and the rooms delightful. Breakfast was very good and the communal rooms very elegant and serene.

This hotel is a true gem. The hotel goes back many hundred of years, was, & still is where students learn to become priests. There is history & heritage everywhere. The rooms are immaculate, functional, spacious & comfortable. Diego, the chap who was working the front desk on my arrival, was just lovely. Book the breakfast, is another wonderful room & good food is plentiful. (Oh and the views!) I booked the hotel online, only after riding into Cuenca. By the time I'm finished my drink, Diego had contacted me via Whatsapp & had given me prefect directions - where to park my bike & which direction to make the short walk to the hotel. The location is perfectly located within the old town. I think this was the most interesting, educational night's stay I've ever had. Diego's English was perfect & his knowledge of the building & it's history is second-to-none. This hotel, like the beautiful city of Cuenca, is unmissable.
