Just returned from THE BEST DOG FRIENDLY COTTAGE EVER!!!! The Old Smithy is the most dog friendly cottage we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in a lot). The amount of throws, the dog bowls, treats, even a lovely 3 peaks dog bed, and the loveliest touch...a little note from the owners own dog 😍. The cottage itself is so cosy. It has a lovely big bed, big shower, big garden (with grass!!!!!) and big TV...what more could you ask for?! Look no further, you have found the dog cottage of your dreams! Even the owners are very friendly 😂. An excellent base to explore the east coast. We will be booking again!!! Thank you again, Georgie and Mark. We absolutely loved everything!

We had a lovely weekend stay at Blacksmiths Cottages! The cottage is super cosy and finished to a very high standard. The owners have thought of everything, including basic kitchen items such as tea, coffee, sugar etc. washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, plus some wood for the fireplace! I have to mention the level of cleanliness as the cottage was absolutely spotless! Plenty of lovely fluffy towels were provided too. Parking was ample and easy to find. We can highly recommend the local pub, The Ship Inn, we were made to feel very welcome there. Thanks again Mark, Georgie and Hannah, we will look forward to our next visit!

A wonderful quiet bolt hole, well furnished, immaculate, comfy bed and nice linens. Extremely helpful hosts who were very responsive.
