Wonderful. Some of the friendliest people I've met. Jan was outstanding. So helpful and kind. The room was as expected, I had my dorm to myself. Shower was a struggle but that's not going to take away a star. The location is superb and the food and facilities were all great. Drying room and washing and cleaning area if you're been outside in wet weather.
Well equipped YHA. We hired out the whole place for a birthday weekend and it worked out great. Bunk beds in rooms quite adequate, great shared kitchen and dining room. Fantastic location in the national park.
Handy half way stop when going south or as a break by itself. Lots of good walks. Clean, bright and friendly staff make for a super experience. Only that I don't like are the rubber sheets on the bed - expected but they are a bit hot to sleep on.
