A fantastic hotel and a great location with very Friendly staff And exceptional service. 10 minutes drive from Bandal and Sanary, Two beautiful French towns on the coast with fantastic restaurants. What’s more The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and probably the cleanest quietest beach in the area. As the road down to the beach is private, it does not get too busy. Just the locals That are within walking distance, And People staying at the hotel. I will definitely return again. Thank you for a lovely stay. The only thing I would say is there is a restaurant situated on top of the hotel (restaurant le panoramic) that I would not recommend eating at. It was the worst meal of our holiday and more expensive than even the Michelin star restaurants in town. However, I would caveat this restaurant has nothing to do with Hotel and does not reflect the fantastic service Of the hotel itself.
Loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! The rooms are clean and comfortable with an amazing shower! The staff were all very nice and friendly, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was incredible. Location cannot be beat - you literally walk right onto a beautiful beach with calm water and water sport rentals. It’s also a short walk from some shops and walking distance to town.
Disappointing Stay at a Supposed 4-Star Hotel We stayed at Hostellerie La Farandole from 27-29 December and had a very disappointing experience. First, the room was freezing cold in the middle of winter because the heater was not working. They gave us a separate heater, but this is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel. The toilet amenities were minimal and not replaced daily. When I requested a shower cap, they simply didn’t have any. On 28 December, we noticed that no water had been replenished in the room. Upon calling the front desk, they informed us that water is only replenished every two days. Again, this is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The breakfast was another letdown. The spread was unimpressive, and despite paying for breakfast, they charged an additional €3 for extra eggs. We ended up eating breakfast outside, which was far more satisfying. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others. Definitely not worth its 4-star rating.
