Hotel 11 MOD A Sonesta Collection

We chose this hotel not because we were needed to travel to the airport, but due to the easy access to Stony Trail and heading West to Banff. The hotel is new and modern with 24 hour access to the gym and pool and the hot tub has great jets. And the unexpected steam shower option in our suite was a nice surprise. The customer service was excellent as they even provided bear spray to borrow as we had forgot ours and this saved us time and money. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during Stampede week. The rate was very reasonable, even during such a popular tourist time. Taking an Uber from this location to downtown wasn’t expensive, and the shuttle bus to and from the airport was really convenient. The service and facilities were all great—I’d almost call it a perfect stay. Unfortunately, on the last morning of our trip, the alarm in one of the rooms on level 2 was extremely loud and kept ringing for a good 45 minutes before it finally stopped at 7 a.m. I totally understand this wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and they probably couldn’t do anything about it. Still, I’d recommend bringing your own earplugs just in case, as the soundproofing isn’t perfect. All in all, it was still a very nice stay, and we’ll definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time.

Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The service was excellent and very friendly. We showed up in the middle of the night without a reservation due to a mistake on my part and the woman at the front desk was very accommodating both in finding us a room even though it was fully booked and storing food that we had with us that needed to be kept frozen. She really helped us avert a mini crisis at the beginning of our vacation!! Thank you!!
