Hotel 77 Seventy Seven Maison D'Art Collection

We stayed 2 nights in the Hotel 77 and it was lovely and cool upon our arrival into reception. All the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and our room was ready 1 hour before check in which was nice. Breakfast at the hotel was great, wide variety of options, juices and hot drinks, and with it being on the roof top was an added bonus. Our room was perfect and the bathroom was big for a city center hotel. Location wise, it was about 30mins to the Colosseum and 1 hour walk to the Vatican. We walked to both to absorb the sights and sounds of Rome. Its also only an 8 minute walk from Rome Termini which was easy with a backpack or wheeled suitcase. Overall I recommend Hotel 77 and hope to go back one day. Thank you

Booked this property through booking.com. Once arrived at the hotel was told we were staying in a separate building although the booking address was for the main hotel with all the amenities. Got to the room, no phone working to call reception over the road, no WiFi and hairdryer was broken. Went to reception the next day and the lady didn’t want to help. Not trying to help clear up the situation or find a solution as they were fully booked in the main hotel where I booked for. Didn’t use the spa or other facilities due to this inconvenience which definitely ruined the whole experience. The lady said speak to the manger the next day to whom wasn’t there and the same lady on reception. Before booking try and contact them to arrange that you are staying in the main hotel as they don’t advertise this on the site. Just palm you off when you get there and don’t care if it ruins your plans or trip. Very unhelpful staff and will not be staying here again due to the price I paid and the service I received. Avoid!!

Toe nails left in our room from previous guests. Yes really, toe nail clippings left on the floor from previous occupants!!! Waiters serving seagulls though the window then handling our food. Rooms falling apart and dirty. Cigarettes butts left in plant pots on balcony. Hangers missing from wardrobe. Gaps in the door frame. Cleaner left the door wide open all day. Discovered when we returned in the evening. Reception just said “that isn’t good”. Customer service is a joke and think offering a miniature bottle of limoncello will compensate. On check in there were open cans left in the fridge from previous guests. A con to make us pay for their drinks perhaps? Or just lazy from the cleaners. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, move on. If you have booked it already and can cancel, do so and find somewhere else. Pictures attached to prove this isn’t a lie.
