We recently stayed at this hotel in Rome. Overall a pleasant experience. Having checked the reviews beforehand, I emailed the hotel in advance just to make sure our room was in the main building (it was). The room itself is quite small, the bed is alright, the bathroom is fine too, but a little renovation might help. The staff greeted us and we even checked in a bit earlier (a half an hour or so). Be aware, the walls are very thin and the sound insulation is bad.
Avoid if you don’t feel like getting robbed. This venue charges you 4€ per person just to be seated there. They opened and poured a bottle of water that we didn’t ask for which of course they charged us for. The pizzas were so ordinary. The vegetarian pizza literally consisted of cheese, one thin slice of capsicum and 4 thin slices of eggplant. Service was poor. There is way better pizza, prices and service all over Rome.
A hotel at the level of 2 stars, not 4. It seems they market it as a 4-star hotel just to charge a higher tourist tax. The room is small and cramped, the double bed is too small to be considered a double—it’s more suitable for a single person. The shower looks like it’s from the 1960s, the towel rack is unsafe. There’s only an indoor lobby with a single armchair that barely fits one person. If you want to smoke a cigarette in the lobby, the hotel staff and even the shift manager will kick you out of the table in the middle of the lobby, since they use it as a restaurant, and if you don’t buy anything—you’re not allowed to sit in or outside the lobby. Even at night they lock up the chairs. A strange hotel in Rome! If you try to pay by credit card, they insist on cash! To this day I don’t know why.!! They claim it’s their policy. Avoid this hotel—there are plenty of better options out there!
