Hotel Aatu Adults Only

We spent 1 night here on a whim after leaving Girona and I cannot express how Idyllic and serene Hotel Aatu is. Joanna was the most welcoming and friendly host and I am so happy I found this hotel and made a last minute reservation. We had two rooms booked, one standard and one deluxe with terrace and both were modern farmhouse decor, the terrace room had two terraces and the other a view of the pool. Beds were comfortable and the shower excellent. The gardens and pools are absolutely beautiful and the sounds of nature are amazing. It’s a short 5 min walk down a country lane to the picturesque town of Peratallada which is absolutely worth a visit. Joanna gave us recommendations for dinner and other towns to visit during our travels and I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Excellent service! This was our first stay. We found the rooms very clean and comfortable. The location was convenient with shops, restaurants and the beach all in short distance. We were especially impressed with the customer service! The reception desk staff were friendly, especially Joanna she was -FAB. Very welcoming and very helpful. We loved staying at this hotel! The property is beautiful - so peaceful and relaxing. There are 2 salt water pools and the room came with 2 terraces which were great for sitting out on at the end of the day. The best part of the whole experience was the hospitality of the owner Joana. She clearly cares so much about her guests and we felt so taken care of. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. It's a 10 minute walk to Peratellada along country roads that felt quiet but very safe (though dark at night - bring a Phone light!). Additionally, it was the best shower we've ever used. Highly recommend!
