Hotel Abbot

The room was clean but the size and amenities feel like a 3 star. The bed is very light for some reason, it moves whenever I move. Since I didn't pay a 4 star room rate either it's understandable. In general the receptionists are nice and helpful but I also think they could try to look and sound more courteous. (In short, these men need to smile more)

I got a good enough price on this place, but as other reviews have said, it is absolutely not up to par with the "4 star" moniker and I feel like their reviews would be better if they updated their description and adapted pricing accordingly. Positives: The hotel was clean, quiet, and in a great location. The bed was comfortable enough. Negatives: The bathrooms are awkwardly shaped and not good for accessibility. The furniture was a little dated. The trash bins were far too small. The mini-fridge was filled with drinks but there was no indication of pricing so they did not get touched - a huge waste of space in the fridge. The breakfast is too expensive for what it is. I would recommend this place as a budget hotel. With that being said, there are some limitations holding this place back.

1st room was depressing, second much better but small, bed was confortable. Nice bathroom, powerful shower, couldn't sleep because of constant humming from hotel ventilation system. Don't understand why hotels still insist on supplying complimentary soaps, gels etc in small plastic bottles when re-fillable dispensers would be more cost effective and more eco friendly.
