We had a very nice and comfortable stay at Hotel Abest in Takatsuki. The rooms are very cosy and impeccably clean. The staff is very friendly and respectful. Brilliant service. The price was good too and the food was nice. Wonderful hotel for anybody who wants to visit both Osaka and Kyoto because it is very close to two stations.
Had a wonderful time at this hotel. We were going to visit both Osaka and Kyoto during our visit and find this hotel as a great midway point. It's a 2 minute walk from JR Takastuki Station and about 15 minutes from Hankyu Takastuki-shi, making transportation around the Kansai region easily accessible. There is a buffet style restaurant on the first floor. We didn't eat here in favor of eating at the many local street restaurants, but it smelled good. Public baths on the top floor were enjoyable and never felt crowded. They alternate the rooms by gender nightly, as one bath has a sauna and cold bath, and the other has an open air bath and two single tubs. The staff was always on hand for assistance if needed. A very enjoyable stay!
