The only place to stat at Vendas Novas. Rooms needs to be refurbished but comvenient for a short term stay. The showers must have a place to put the shampoo and showergel at least.
I was able to check in last minute after midnight and I am very grateful. Very nice staff, okay food, quite a nice room! The wifi doesn't work and the TV screen is ancient so it's not a pleasant watch but I did not need those things. For the price I am quite satisfied. Will book again.
Not worth the money but it’s the only hotel in town. I enjoyed the bath and the breakfast but the bed is the same as any 2star hotel in Portugal. What really upset me however was the laundry service: I was told by the night staff that I could wash my clothes which I did, hung them up to dry (because the dryer did not work), and in the morning I was presented with an invoice for 55 Euros for the laundry service. I certainly would not have washed my clothes if I knew it would cost 10 Euros, let alone 55. I guess I was naive but traveler beware! And maybe skip this hotel entirely.
