What a beautiful hotel .The lovely gentleman who booked us in is a credit to them he was so helpful. Rooms were big and clean. Shower was nice and hot.free tea and coffee was really good and lovely idea with the honesty drinks and snacks .Will definitely be returning.
We were really looking forward to The Acropolis but from the moment we stepped into the establishment, things did not go well. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in and this really seemed to bother the receptionist who didn’t even greet us with a, “hello”; instead, she greeted us with a big sigh. Why is this such an issue? Either ask us to wait the 30 minutes or if the room is available, let us in there. Simple. The room itself was gorgeous and spacious. However, there was a brown stain on the couch. The bathroom had mold in it and the hairdryer had a sticky substance on it, making it difficult to hold. During check-out, the same receptionist didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay, didn’t bid us good bye and none of the niceties any decent hotel would afford its patrons during check-out. Would I come back? No. I hope for future residents this changes.
