It's in a strategic location, close to town, and right in front of a police station, which made me feel safe. The room price is also quite affordable. However, my stay was significantly affected by the elevator system. There are three lifts, but only one of them goes to every floor. The other two only access certain levels, which was confusing and very inconvenient. I often had to wait 10 to 30 minutes just to get to my floor, which was frustrating, especially when in a rush. If the lift issue gets sorted out, this place could be a much better choice for budget travelers.
It was ok. The AC did not work so the room was hot n humid. There's 2 hotels in the same building, so it can b little confusing. The morning buffet was ok. Don't go at 7am. All the Chinese tourists go up there before the morning tour. 8 am the buffet lines is short. All in all, it was ok but not great.
3.5. It had a great view from the room. The room temperature was always surprisingly hotter than the normal ambient temperature outside the hotel for some reason. The shower worked good and the water pressure was strong and there was plenty of hot water. The toilet had a bidet. It had a fridge. There were no bedbugs or mosquitoes there. The Wi-Fi was doable, but was not secure. They gave complimentary water bottles.
