Hotel Admiral

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is superbly run by the staff including restaurant staff. Everything we ate here for 5 days was delicious and plentiful, lovely fresh ingredients and big choice of dishes. I loved the Deep fried Celeriac fingers! Colrabi puree. All the bakery products were so fresh and my absolute favourite at breakfast is their bread pudding and apple crumble ( Yes, I know not your typical breakfast food. Also I enjoyed the semolina. Lots of fresh fruit like melon, pineapple, grapefruit, oranges. Our room was not too small, very clean and comfortable bed. Towels a bit thin but did the job.

We booked a night including half board. The food here is pretty decent. A lot of local variety, fresh and of good quality. Mattress was comfortable. The air conditioning was not working. It was too cold and we couldn’t turn it off. Someone from maintenance came and tried to fix it but it didn’t fully work. So we kept the window open. Parking is 25 euros, same price as the public parking (blue zone). You can also park in their garage, cost a few bucks more.

Beautifully situated on the shores of very calm Adriatic Sea. This elongated hotel has different floors with the reception, restaurant, and sauna/indoor pools on lower floors. It took me several tries to locate my room and rest of tour group. Hotel restaurant food is excellent. Our room needs improvement on AC and hair dryer sometimes over heating even just with a few minutes use. We had to open our veranda door to vent. Other than these 2 issues, we were happy with this place.
