Hotel Africa

Restaurant: Egg station is very good. Strawberry juice is uniquely delicious. I did not like the coffee station, did not like the Americano, but liked the cappuccino. WiFi is not very good. Often gets disconnected. Met four cockroaches in the room and several mosquitoes. Not very clean. You can smell Clorox in bathroom. Service: Staff is very responsive and professional. Location is unbearable, in a lively and not too noisy area. Watch the birds at sunset making landing at trees on the street. Beautiful seen. Overall stay was ok. Definitely not a 5 star

It really needs to have some refreshing. Old moquette that is often dirty and not very clean curtains. A minimum service and comfort in the rooms.

This hotel is not a 5-star—more like a 1-star. There was no Wi-Fi in my room, only in the lobby. The room was very old, the bath/shower was broken, and the entire space needs full refurbishment. I asked for water and was told I had to buy it, which was very surprising for a supposed 5-star hotel. I booked dinner, but drinks were not included and had to be purchased separately—this was not mentioned at the time of booking. People were smoking everywhere, even inside the restaurant, which made it very uncomfortable. The only positive thing was the staff—they were friendly and tried their best. But the facilities and overall experience were terrible. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
