We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Agava! One of the highlights of our visit in April was the warm outdoor pool—it was perfect for our children, who were able to swim comfortably even during the early spring weather. It made such a difference having a family-friendly facility like that available. Chilling by the pool is so relaxing as it gets both morning and afternoon sun - great for golden hour photos against the white/grey stone surrounding the pool. Breakfast was amazing. If you go to the 7 restaurant, I highly recommend the scrambled eggs dish - if you don't order it, you'll be envious when you see it being taken to other tables! What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist with anything we needed—from local tips to arranging transportation. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Hotel Agava for families and anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run place to stay in beautiful Split!
An absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were great and the hotel is beautiful yet quaint. Situated in a perfectly walkable areas. If you can request room 2 I highly recommend it as it walks out to the pool.
when I had to cancel last year due to a death in the family the owner refused to refund any part of the fee.I had booked for 5 nights including breakfast. The tax, breakfast and full stay was kept. When we were notified about the death it was 5 days before I was to arrive. I went back and forth for days with booking and the owner and to no avail. Each kept telling me to contact the other. Eventually the owner gave me a voucher good for 2 years. This past May I used the voucher for a 3 night stay. That was all that was available. The rooms were a good size and clean, the pool is nice. The breakfast is a 10 minute walk to a restaurant on Reva promenade. The location is not great. There is no car access. The car left us off and we walked up a cement hill and then into a dark alley. There are residents in the alley way with garbage outside their doors. Overall I was surprised with all the correspondence the owner never introduced herself or greeted us. Coffee in the lobby had to be paid for. Which I refused since they made a nice profit on me
