Hotel Agora Osaka Moriguchi

Had a wonderful time at Hoyel Agora. Staff are very friendly and helpful - 24/7! The location is one minute from Moriguchi Station Keihan line! The rooms are super clean - have stayed about 5 times and it’s consistently great. Breakfast in the morning is also a great way to start the day! ☺️

Location is a bit outside but it’s right next to the train station which is great. View Was also good. Gym is not included but outside of the building for 1100¥. Beware of five star ratings without a text - the hotel reception gives a free beer for a blanco review. From 18:30-21:00 there is „beer garden“ every night and you can hear the people very loud even with windows closed - so prepare earplugs if you intend to sleep early

Checked in late at midnight and the reception/concierge service was nice. Was given WiFi SSID and password, which did not seem to work. Room is decent with expected amenities and has a decent view. AC could be cooler, but is cool enough. Fair price. Overall good aside from WiFi problem, would rate higher if problem did not happen/is fixed. Complaint for said WiFi annoyance below. Update: The next day, the WiFi problem resolved itself. My phone (Xiaomi 15, Android Version 15AQ3A.240812.002, Xiaomi HyperOS Version 2.0.112.0.VOCMIXM) was not able to connect to the WiFi and instead would display "Obtaining IP Address..." for a while until disconnecting from the network (presumably timing out). This would result in me not connecting to the WiFi and forcing me to try again (despite knowing the outcome will not change) for a sliver of hope that by some miracle repeating the same action many times over will net a different result. After an innumerable amount of tries on my phone, I vainly attemtped to connect on my laptop (Asus VivoBook X521EQ_S533EQ Windows Version 19045.5965), of course to no success. Then, I called reception/concierge through phone and they provided me the same information (SSID and Password) and giving them the benefit of the doubt that I had entered the password wrong every single time I tried again over 5 times to no avail. Frustrated, I went to enquire personally as to why I could not connect to the WiFi. They seemed equally as puzzled as me and as neither of us could do anything, I gave up. Note that the reception/concierge staff were co-operative and I do not fault them for this problem. I am now writing this review with my laptop using phone's hotspot of my precious data SIM. Please fix this problem I would like to not use my data when WiFi is supposedly provided.
