Booked this place maybe 4-5 months prior to a concert I was attending with a friend. We shared a queen bedroom and everything was great. We arrived in the city around 10am and were able to drop off our bags and explore. They said they could text me if earlier check-in was available before 3pm and sure enough I got a text around 1pm. The lobby was nice to hang out in but didn't really explore the bar or other amenities. We had room 304 at the end of the hallway in the corner. Overall, the bed, bathroom and closet drawer were very nice. Had no issues with sleeping. The mini bar was cool but didn't really use it. The mini fridge was small and only 2 cartons of water was provided, but I expect this when travelling in general, so I tend to just buy beverages at a nearby convenience store. The location was great. We explored up and down the city and were only a few minutes from the 6 train and a couple blocks from Koreatown and the F train. The price for 2 nights was good considering the location, but this was also months in advanced. I did notice that the price shot up a month later. I would definitely stay here again if the price was good as it is a nice and convenient hotel.

Splurged and booked the queen bedroom with balcony and views of Empire State Building and it was 100% worth it! Luxurious room with nespresso maker, mini fridge, microwave oven, steamer, bath robes, and a spacious bathroom! A rare find in NYC and will definitely be back again. Perfect central location between Penn Station and Grand Central, about 10-15 minute walk and away from the hustle and bustle of midtown area.

I’ve stayed at many hotels, both budget and luxury, and this has been by far the worst experience in terms of hospitality and customer service. One travels to feel welcome and have a good experience — this hotel delivered the opposite. After a 12-hour flight, we were given our room only to find that none of the plumbing worked: no shower, no toilet, no sink. We had to wait over two hours while a (very kind) plumber attempted to unclog everything. As expected, the bathroom was left in an absolute mess. I politely asked for someone to clean it and bring fresh towels — a basic request under the circumstances. No one from the hotel staff responded. It wasn’t until I raised my voice that anyone even acknowledged me — and when they did, the interaction was shockingly hostile. A woman, visibly angry, literally threw towels in my face. No apology, no courtesy, nothing. For $400 a night, the very least one should expect is a working bathroom on arrival — or at minimum, a respectful staff and basic housekeeping. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
