Hotel Akritas Pefkochori

We stayed at Akritas Hotel in Pefkochori (two adults and two children), and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is very clean — our room was cleaned every day, and bed linens and towels were changed every other day. The pool area is cozy and relaxing, with soft and comfortable sunbeds — a perfect place to unwind. A big thank you to Maria at the reception for being so friendly and helpful, and a special thanks to the bartender, Nicholas, for his professionalism, delicious cocktails, and warm, welcoming attitude. The location is excellent — the beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are markets and some of the best restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pefkochori!

We liked the hotel so we stayed 8-9 nights. The breakfast was very good. The cleaners went to clean our room when we were at the beach. The beds were comfortable. In the kitchen, the ones that stayed before us in that room left us some juice, so when we left, we left juice too. I really hope the tradition continued. The hotel was 5 minutes away from the beach. The staff members were really nice if we had a problem. At the pool, you could stay after the beach if you wanted to sunbathe or if you wanted to just swim. I recommend this hotel if you want to be next to the beach.

Rooms were basic but had most of what you needed the beds were not very comfortable, kitchenette missing some basics like cutlery or cups. Staff were friendly and supportive. While we were there other guests at hotel got noisy in big groups but hotel staff were quick to respond to it. Great pool the kids loved it, bar was ok but pool area you couldnt bring your own food and food service was only available at breakfast and then not until after 1.30 which is silly especially whrn kids get hungry between 11.30 and 1.30..would i stay there again maybe not but it was pleasant and suited to big groups of families with multiple rooms. Location awesome close to shops and restaurants 3 min walk about 8 mins to beachfront. 8 mins drive to best beaches at Xenia beach etc. Parking was a little annoying but available some in front of hotel some at another location less than 5mins walk away.
