The location wasn't terrible, but my main issue was the cleaning of the place. The room we stayed in had stains on the sheets, which verified my concerns about the cleanliness of the room. The walls had stains and dirt on them, spiders were crawling out of a hole in the ceiling and then we found them crawling on our bed. When we had wanted to speak with someone about these issues, we were met with a front desk person talking on the phone and constantly disappearing into the back when ever we tried to catch her. The vending machine was broken, the thermostat stayed at 80 degrees F. And ultimately, another concern that didn't deal with the nastiness of our room was the fact that they over charged you for alcohol. I was here on a trip with my school and people were charged unfairly. Two girls from my group were charged 3 euro more than others for the same alcoholic drink. The lady behind the bar told them 6 euros or so, until a young man told them it was actually 3 something, but the lady insisted it was 6 or so euros. Beforehand two more people, who were male, got alcohol for 3 euro cheaper. Also they gave us one less room than we booked, we had this place booked for about 2 years before our stay and yet they gave someone else a room. I am deeply dissapppointed by the poor service from most of the staff, accept the young guy who was at the bar, lack of cleanliness and impressed by the staff's ability to ignore people's concerns or treat others fairly. Do not recommend.

TRAVELERS BEWARE!!!! I was the group leader for a large tour group of young travelers making our way through Europe. This is my fourth such tour, and I have to say that this was by far the worst experience I've ever had in Europe. If you read the review just before mine, one of my students shared her unfortunate experience, and instead of apologizing, the owner accused her of lying and blamed our group for our bad experience. The students took pictures of the stained sheets and spiders coming in (See attached photos). The staff was not helpful, and as the prior review stated, they scammed our young people over the prices of their drinks. The dinner provided was terrible, and for breakfast their eggs were ice cold. Our tour director had to get in a heated conversation with the hotel staff to get any of our concerns addressed. What makes me most upset is the attitude of the ownership. It is clear they have no interest in providing a pleasurable experience for guests. Nor do they have an interest in trying to improve their service. I will be in touch with my travel company, and do my best to convince them to never again send travelers to this terrible hotel.

the service in this hotel was the absolute worst ever. I went here with a school trip through a group called EF. First of all, this trip was planned two years ago, meaning that this hotel has had this reservation for two years. However, the first day we entered, and after countless reminders of the group coming and what we needed the hotel to have, the rooms were miscounted and people were left without rooms for an hour and a half. That night, while getting adjusted to rooms, individuals on the group had dirty sheets, a broken air conditioner (one that would not go down past 80°F), broken windows, mold in the bathrooms, and later found two dead spiders on their walls as well as living spiders crawling out of the ceiling - pictured here. Now, it is a very simple request to be able to change sheets, but unfortunately, not for the Hotel Al Pino Verde. My tour guide had to stay up past midnight in order to maintain a nice environment for people to sleep in. The spider problem was so bad that individuals in that room had to sleep on the floor for two nights in a different room to get away. That is just complaints from the rooms. As far as the service, it is much worse. Upcharging on drinks that later led to them giving out refunds, laughing while people were talking about what they needed in the moment ( primarily the issue with the individuals without a room at the start of the first night), and ignorance when it came to anything that was needed at all. At breakfast, scrambled eggs that were brought out from the kitchen were ice cold. When workers were told about the problems and asked to fix them, they ignored or responded with the most attitude that is needed to maintain customer service in a hotel. do not come here, thanks.
