Hotel Al Ponte Dei Sospiri

I loved staying here! The staff were so helpful and you literally get served breakfast in your room on a tray. Our breakfast server Rafaelle was such a delight and gave us good food recommendations! The location is great, right near Piazza San Marco and our room had a window view of the Bridge of Sighs.

The wow factor was pretty intense for me when I walked into my room and saw the view out the balcony window. I think it’s probably one of the more premier spots in all Venice to take in the views, and the people watching with the bridge of sighs in the distance- it’s room 150 in case you’re wondering - the best room in the house. With a great staff, great location and great pizza place right across the street. What else do you need?

Our stay at Hotel Al Ponte dei Sospiri was an absolute delight. My husband and I traveled to Italy to celebrate our honeymoon, and this hotel made it truly special. The staff was easily reachable, and transportation from the airport to the hotel was arranged seamlessly. Everyone we encountered was kind, helpful, and spoke English, which made everything easier. We chose the Love Escape package with our room, which included a tour of the Murano Glass Museum and a private water taxi tour of the Grand Canal. All the tours were easily arranged through the reception staff and went smoothly. Breakfast each morning was made extra special thanks to dear Raffaelo. His kind smile and thoughtful service added a warm, personal touch to our trip—we’ll always remember his hospitality. The hotel is also ideally located near Piazza San Marco, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within walking distance. We’ll always cherish our stay here and will gladly recommend it to family and friends!
