Hotel Albatros

I'm so happy that the bad reviews are outdated. We had an excellent time here, with great food, air conditioned room and friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel if you're on a budget. One free beach is 1 kilometres away, and so is the train station. Yes, the rooms weren't that big, but it was clean and comfy. We didn't have any problems with loudness.

I have to admit, some of the reviews almost put me off booking this hotel , but wow, what a mistake that would have been! We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. Every morning, we woke up to a stunning view over the Bay of Naples. Breakfast was simple but more than enough to keep you going for a good part of the day. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and neatly made beds - thank you for that! The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The pool was a decent size , we only used it a few times in the evenings as we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful sights of Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast , not forgetting the historic sites such as Pompeii and Herculaneum. The location is perfect — just a 10-minute walk to the train station and only a 5 mins train ride to Sorrento. I’m so glad we chose this quieter town and this hotel instead of the much busier Sorrento itself. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. It was PERFETTO! Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable.

Our stay here was good, the view is wonderful. The pool was nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfy. However, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Our rooms AC wasn’t working, so we asked the desk and they did nothing until we begged them to come take a look, where the guy walked in and said “too hot in here” pretended to poke at buttons (doing nothing) and then said “have a good sleep if u can” and laughed. In the morning, we told the front desk our room was boiling and they rolled their eyes and said it works and that the other employee was new. With not even an apology it definitely impacted our opinions of this hotel.
