Hotel Albert 1er

Breakfast is not enough for the group, group restaurant is too small, there is no parking for the coaches and pick up and drop is also difficult for the group. Lift is very small. It a four storied building. All these of a tour leader's point. Rooms are good, not maintained well though.

I stayed 2 nights. Positives: Polite reception personnel & clean room (the basics you expect for a hotel). Good shower, hairdryer. Room a good size. But we found these negatives: The hotel is no way a 4 star (more like a 2-3 star). The decoration is dated and needs some renovation. Bathroom quite modern, but all the hooks were loose and nearly falling off. Air conditioning does not work at all which was very uncomfortable. It was hot inside even with the air con switched on (it looks like an old system). Old carpet with stains, doesn't give a good impression. Location is far from Paris centre. Have to take metro & RER train, then a 15 minute walk to the hotel. If you don't mind that, it's ok for a few nights. We did not have breakfast, it was very expensive so we preferred not to as the room was already quite a lot.

I wouldn't say the hotel is a 4 star. The positive thing was the staff's kindness; they were very helpful. The breakfast was nice but poor, meaning that after 8.30am it was almost gone. The carpet on the room was a bit dirty, and the silicone on the bath separator glass was not functionalble, resulting in water dropping outside the bath. NEspresso machine and room size were two positives there! And the huge negative was the fire alarm. It was problematic meaning that for 2 nights straight it was alarming at 5 and 7 am..
