Hotel Albona Nova

It was my first time skiing in Austria and I'm more than happy that I stayed in Albona Nova: great location, amazing food (breakfast and especially dinners). And separately I want to highlight the staff in the hotel, who were very helpful and took good care of me while I stayed in the hotel. From practical perspective: very close to the lift, ski-in/ski-out would depend on the snowfall. In the worst case you'd have to walk around 15 meters with your skis until you face the lift (so not bad really).

Laid-back rustic chic. Next to ski school, ski lift, and free bus to Lech. Excellent service, from valet parking to booking a private ski instructor. Refined Austrian food, very decent bar, great little spa area that's more than big enough for the size of the hotel. Lots of entertainment options for the kids. Air purifier in the cigar smoking room could need an upgrade.

The hotel is wonderful, and the attitude of the staff and the owner - extremely kind and entirely in the name of the client. The rooms are extremely clean and well maintained. Their size is satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, although for the two of us with my daughter it was a little small and this created a slight inconvenience. The food is gourmet and of a very high level, which I appreciate, being a person with extremely high demands on the quality of food. The only drawback for me was the lack of a salad bar every evening, because I like to consume a larger amount of salad. But the kitchen offered salad almost every day as a first course, although in a modest amount. I would come back again!
