A wonderful 3 night stay in July ‘25. A huge corner room, balcony with seating, very comfortable bed, cozy sofa and chairs and really nicely decorated. The staff at checkin and checkout were the best. Great value. The breakfast downstairs was outstanding! Strongly recommended. And in a very central area just steps from Tivoli and everything in city center. Can’t wait to go back!

The reception service could be better. The elevator didn't work. The rooms are build in the old 60's or 70's Danish design, so the have an old feeling. But maybe it was old, because 1 out of 3 light bulbs didn't work, 1 out of 2 shower heads didn't work, the TV is outdated and you can't cast to it, unless you have an app that costs 12€ a month. The room temperature was a bit cold. Almost no electric plugs. The toilet kept running because of a defect flush mechanism, which also made it hard to flush. Remember to set a side time for breakfast, as it is in a restaurant, and there might not be seats left. At least it was very good.

Before my arrival, I reached out to the hotel requesting two double beds, as this was one of the options available when booking the Design Deluxe Double room with king size bed on Hotels.com. I never received a response. When I checked in, I found a full-size bed instead. When I went back to reception to ask if this was the room I had booked, I was told it was—but it looked completely different from the photos online. The bathroom was also nothing like what I saw when booking. The listing lacked clear photos and accurate information about the different room layouts under the same name. The toilet had not been cleaned thoroughly, the trash can was broken, and the shower had no shampoo. I requested shampoo, but my request was ignored. The shower space was extremely tight, and the design was completely different from what was pictured—the bathroom unit overall was a total surprise, and not in a good way. The hotel promotes itself as offering a Danish design experience, but in reality, the building feels old and in need of major updates. If you truly want to experience Danish design, I’d recommend visiting a museum or other cultural spaces—not this hotel. Given that this property is more expensive than several nicer hotels in the same neighborhood, I would strongly advise against booking here. Don’t be bamboozled by the marketing photos and descriptions.
