Hotel Alimara Barcelona

Lovely place this. Right next to the metro (which is v cheap by the way - 2.35 euro to basically go anywhere). Clean room, nicely decorated, very well air conditioned! Breakfast is nice too - coffee from the coffee machine is actually very nice - good food spread

We stayed for 4 nights at this Hotel, we received good service from the staff both at reception and cleaning! The rooms were nice and spacious. The breakfast has a large buffet. It's close to the metro station so easy to get into the city.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and child, hoping for a comfortable experience, but it fell short in several ways. I requested an extra quilt to avoid sharing with my family, but the hotel provided only a small, thin blanket without a cover. The staff stated they don’t offer additional quilts to guests. Upon checking the bed, I noticed black, sticky stains and paper scraps on the sheets, likely from improper cleaning. The staff offered a new sheet but expected me to change it myself. The shower was another disappointment, with extremely low water pressure, making bathing unpleasant. The hotel’s only redeeming feature is its proximity to a metro station, though it’s still a fair distance from the city center. Returning at night felt unsettling, as the area around the station and streets was eerily quiet, raising concerns about personal safety. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
