We had a fabulous experience at Alisios Hotel, it was the best place we stayed during our two weeks in Portugal. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with beautiful views of the water. This was the first hotel that didn't have heavy, hot down comforters on the bed, I slept very well. Don't get me started on the hotel breakfast, incredible offerings! A great way to start a busy day exploring the Algarve with healthy options available. The hotel staff is warm, welcoming and very professional. The location is perfect if you prefer peace and quiet, with a quick walk to the action. The pool is fantastic, don't forget your swimming cap. Every hotel we stayed at required them, this is not unique to Alisios. If we could've stayed a few more days we absolutely would have!
Fantastic holiday at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went with two friends on half board. This hotel is 4 star and worth every one. The restaurant is great. Three course evening meal of the highest quality. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Beach front hotel. We visited last two weeks in May. Two sun terraces which were never full when we were there. Wonderful views. Room cleaned every day. I can't praise the staff enough. I would have given five stars for the location except it's situated half way up a hilly road. If you are not mobile or disabled this could pose a problem. The roads are fine it's just getting up the hill can be tiring. I am sixty eight and I managed but it was a bit of a struggle sometimes. You can always hire tuk tuks or uber taxis to take you straight to the hotel entrance. Would I book again? Absolutely. Albufeira is lovely but please be aware it's popular with stag and hen parties. Laid back during the day but full on at night. You can still find quieter bars at the top of the town but they are few and far between. If you are looking to chill out at night then stop at the hotel. It's laid back with a lovely terrace with wonderful views.
Good location hotel and the staff is amazing from the reception to the restaurant everybody is so so nice and speak all languages that’s impressive Bar for evening drink are great good menu good wines Terrace is wonderful so quiet There is a stairs going down to the beach ( private access with you room card ) is really wonderful My room was really lovely , huge and clean ! cleaning staff are great and friendly The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is amazing and the shower so big There is fridge which is great ( but no supplies inside the room to do a cup of tea unfortunately ) I was so nicely surprised to see on evening menu “a la carte” all allergies are mentioned and it’s a good information to know. Sadly for breakfast no allergies are provided next to each items …. Same, for vegetarian options ! Plenty of options for the evening but in the morning there is barely nothing for vegetarian or vegan not even a bottle of soy milk …. A bit surprised and disappointed I didn’t eat much Charging a “tourist tax” at the end of the week which is 2€ per day that you stayed at the hotel… for what reason ? Nobody was able to answer that question Also every ATM in the city and in the hotel take 3% of the debit that you need FYI It was still a lovely and quiet Holliday that I needed
