It is an excellent hotel with fair prices and good food. Small spa area, but the very friendly and welcoming service is outstanding.
We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The staff behind the front desk was friendly, only it was unfortunate that we asked for a day pass (for a free activity) and did not get it right away. When we bought our own ticket for the cable car and arrived back at the hotel, we suddenly did get this pass. Of course, this was no longer necessary after we had already paid for it ourselves. The first thing I want to mention is the hygiene. This was substandard all over the accommodation, it went from cobwebs in the room, stains on curtains to hair everywhere. The rooms are very old and in need of replacement/renovation as well as the bathrooms. The room does have a safe and plenty of closet space. The food was not very good except for a few dishes. Breakfast was sufficient, croissants were missing but on the other hand there was a delicious cake. It is unfortunate, however, that you have to pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast. The tea moment consisted of different kinds of cakes. The pastries did not seem really fresh but rather from a freezer, at least they tasted like it anyway. It would not be bad if there was a card with it so that you have an idea of what is what. The facilities in the accommodation such as the gym were sufficient but in need of replacement. We did not use the sauna. The conclusion is that the hotel was rather disappointing and I would not visit it again.
This hotel is absolutely catastrophic considering it's 4-star rating: There is basically no internet in many places in the hotel, including our room. There are two separate mattresses on the bed even though we double checked with them and made sure we wanted a double room. The walls are paper thin, I can hear the neighbours talking quietly. The receptionist was extremely rude, turned away while we were talking and didn't look back. The breakfast is the same every morning and there isn't a huge selection. The soap was really bad and ran out (they didn't refill it). The toilet paper also ran out because during cleaning they didn't refill it. The room was dirty, there were dead insects there when we arrived. Those insects were never removed throughout our stay. It is nice of them to offer free water during dinner. The rooms were spacious.
