We stayed at Hotel Alpenhof for 6 nights. The hotel is amazing - great service, comfortable rooms, a very nice spa with an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, steam room, sauna, and many chill-out areas. Everything is excellently maintained. The food was very nice, and every dinner was a fine dining experience. The entire hotel is harmoniously designed, and you simply feel very good there. We fully recommend it if you need to “recharge your batteries”.
In view of my wife's knee injury and my daughter living abroad, my son and I visited the hotel for a short skiing trip. Suite 307 was brilliant as were staff, food and wellness. Other good news is that the skiing area has almost doubled due to new lifts. It has to be said that the weather was fantastic which added greatly to our positive experience! We'll be back.
Avoid at all costs!!! This has to be the worst place to stay in. Completely incompetent with zero Customer service. All of a sudden the prices were magically double per night, even though the “extra guests” were children, being charged the price of adults. That would have been OK, if you communicate that before - not upon checkout! When we tried to contest, we were told “it’s not a children’s hotel”. Why do you have a children’s room & children’s menu then?! Complete incompetence & zero concept of customer service. We didn’t let it ruin our holiday but absolutely cannot believe what a shitshow this was, for a pretty mediocre hotel. For this price you could stay at the Ritz in Vienna & then it’s at least worth the value for the money. I travel all the time & this was the worst experience Ive ever had. By the way, half the hotel was empty so maybe we had to pay their bills for the month.
