Great hotel with very nice staff. Great food from their Michelin starred kitchen - both breakfast, lunch and especially dinner. Located with a great view of the Hintertux Glacier. Had six days at the hotel in the summer with hikes in the area and relaxing hours in the spa area.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Hotel Alpenhof in Hintertux is a true gem where every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable stay. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warm hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home — thanks to the incredible Dengg family and their wonderful team. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and offer absolutely epic views of the glacier. I was beyond touched that they upgraded me the exact same room from my last stay — simply because they remembered how much I loved it. That personal touch says it all. The service is impeccable. You’re not just taken care of — you’re thoroughly spoiled. Every request is met with a smile and handled seamlessly. And the food? Think Michelin star-level dining night after night. Every meal is a culinary experience worth savoring. The spa is nothing short of world-class: multiple pools, saunas, and steam rooms — all with stunning views of the glacier. Whether you’re soaking in the warm water or unwinding in the steam, the surrounding alpine beauty elevates the entire experience. Outdoor lovers will feel right at home. Skiing is easily accessible, and the hotel offers guided hikes and e-biking tours right from the front door — making it effortless to explore the spectacular Zillertal Alps. Came for a week's skiing and had a great stay. I liked the comfy rooms, nice spa area, great food, and especially the exceptional staff. Whether emailing in advance of the trip or during meals, incredibly friendly and efficient staff set this place apart. Not quite ski-in ski-out, but you can get to the cable car in 10-15min with the frequent shuttle bus. Would visit again.
