Hotel Alpenkrone

This is such a nice place! The town that this hotel is in, is already spectacular, small and beautiful. Hotel itself has a lot of parking (we were with a group of roadster cars and they had plenty of parking for us). Interior (loby and everything) feels cozy and comfortable. Hotel feels like labyrinth sometimes, but you get used to it very quickly. Rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfy. Breakfast is okay, but the dinner was superbly cooked and ready, almost like a Michelin restaurant. Views from the room and dining area are also spectacular. They also have a lot of activity rooms, saunas, pools, bar, billiard room. And the staff is very nice. Seems like hotel is run by a family and they are so friendly and helpful. I'm gonna come back here.

From the exquisitely prepared appetizers to the decadent desserts, every course was thoughtfully curated, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next. The presentation was impeccable, and the staff’s knowledge of the menu elevated the experience even further. It was a true culinary journey that I would return for in a heartbeat. Equally impressive was the breakfast buffet. It featured an extensive selection favorites and local delicacies, catering to every palate. From freshly baked pastries and a variety of fruits to eggs and the spread was both abundant and meticulously maintained. Starting the day with such a lavish breakfast, surrounded by breathtaking views of the peaceful landscape, was simply perfect. The location itself is wonderfully tranquil, offering a sense of seclusion and relaxation, yet it remains easily accessible. It’s the ideal spot for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature, without the hassle of a long, complicated journey. I can’t recommend Hotel Alpenkrone enough for food lovers and anyone in need of a peaceful retreat.

Located in a beautiful mountain area. It offers a good breakfast. You get free parking next to the hotel.
