Overall we had a great stay here. A warm welcome on arrival with explanation of the most important things. Very friendly staff, just enough free parking spaces (although, in my opinion, staff/owners should keep the parking around the hotel for the guests and park farther away them self). 2 spaces with charging infrastructure. Ample choice at breakfast. Main course for dinner (half board) can be chosen during breakfast and at check-in. Nice wellness area with sauna, steam bath, showers, outside area, solarium and (cold) swimming pool with dangerous (uneven) steps. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that housekeeping doesn't replace every towel they take away and at the end of the week we had to ask extra towels at the reception.
Location: Nice location close to the ski area. It would be shorter with a backdoor and when there is snow in the field :) There is a nice ski room, with lockers. However only a locker for 2 persons. Maybe an idea to place some extra lockers for rooms with 3-4 people. Now I always needed to take boots to dry in the room. Food, restaurant: Food is good. Just make sure buffets get filled more often. Sometimes there were no certain desserts anymore. Or with the kids buffet you had to ask to refill on fries and nuggets. If you organize something extra before the food. Don't make it obligatory if you want to eat at 06.30 pm. Families with kids were really waiting till the accordion player was finished playing. Get a medallion for the stressy guy serving the back. Rooms: 303 Is really not made for families with 2 kids. (11-12yo). I don’t know if it is Famiski who arranged that room or the hotel. The extra seat that was made as a bed for the kids, was way too hard. cracked with every movement, way too small. There was a ditch at the head end. Resulting in laying with your head and shoulders lower than your body. Or resulting in your legs hanging out of the bed. The room was way too hot. When you opened a window for the night, you had the cold air almost pouring into the extra bed. And the church bells ringing at 05.30 am. The rest was nice and clean.
The pool is cold, the terrace was shared with no dividers. On new years eve night we came down for dinner at 18:30 (dinner starts at 18:30) we recieved our mains at 21:30 we waited 3 hours for lack luster food, we didn't even wait for dessert as we wasted 3 hours of hour life's sitting there, as I saw other guests were not pleased either, the servers were just walking around going out for smoke breaks ect. No one came over to ask for any additional drinks during those 3 hours, I had to ask and even then she forgot my order and I had to remind her again!!! I'm definetly not happy for paying over €1,000 for 3 nights of this.
