We stayed in an Apartment and cooked for ourselves, so we don't know about the food (other than the complimentary comments we heard around the village about the Alpenland kitchen) but the room itself and the welcome were both fabulous. Luxurious room, with a great balcony view to Hohe Mut, clouds willing, and towards the Ramolhaus. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, fabulous shower and bath. Lovey, caring staff too . We shall go again!
We had a lovely stay during the 2nd week of the UK Easter holidays. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. The hotel facilities were great and we enjoyed the wellness area and the snooker table. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner and the staff were very accommodating with any requests we had. The only slight negative I would say is that some parts of the room were a little tired but it was suitable for what we needed as a family of 4. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Obergurgl.
Lovely hotel although or bedroom decor was a little tired. The public spaces are all excellently turned out. The staff are knowledgeable and very attentive and we always felt important and valued. Ski in/out is excellent and hotel is well positioned within the resort generally. Excellent breakfasts and plenty of evening meal options to ensure everyone is catered for and sated! Recommended x
