Hotel Alpina

Very nice hotel with delicious food, very convenient for transportation to go ski.

When we have arrived, the room wasn't prepared for two people and it was clearly booked for two. While waiting, we decide to eat at the restaurant. In there, we were questioned with a very bad attitude if we even stay at the hotel! Unsurprisingly, the food was dreadful(all 3 days)! We were also charged around 4€ for a glass of Coca-cola which was probably sitting there the whole day. Talking about the room, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Towels looked very used and the room was quite stinky. Its unfair to say the staff were unfriendly, for example the gentleman who checked us in was very nice and helpful also the girls working the restaurant but we didnt get the same impression from the rest of the staff. We booked this place because of the high ratings on google but to be honest we had a very unpleasant experience there. Maybe the ratings are old or it was our luck! But, during our stay, every guest we have spoken to said they were very unsatisfied too.

What is the number 1 priority of a hotel? Offer a good night sleep to your guests. Unfortunately, this is not a priority for Hotel Alpina. The beds are very hard. Be prepared to wake up with back pain several times. You won't leave the table with an empty stomach, but the food is very common and you can easily prepare it yourself at home. (Tip: don't order the stuffed potato) The bus stops in front of the hotel. Our room was spacious. Don't expect friendliness. For boss Elfi you are a number that needs to order as many drinks as possible and has to pay cash immediately after the meal. Are we coming back? Certainly not. We prefer to look for a friendlier hotel where they know how to treat a guest.
