Loved it! A very humble family and community based run hotel. Really plesent staff. Great facilities and lots to do for the family. Fantastic selection of great quality food.
A solid 3 star hotel, far from the standard of Brennhof which is within the same group of hotels. Would not stay here again. We wanted to book Brennhof but got a family room in due Alte Post Hotel. From not steady supply of hot water, to guests from Eastern Europe drinking in the bar and children running and screaming all over the hotel, limited choices at breakfast, no fresh fruit, to outdated rooms, we expected more for the price and a 4 star rating.
Got some ice cream here. The taste was ok, but the scoops were the tiniest I've seen in all of Europe. I thought the guy was making a joke when he handed my son his ice cream. But nope he then proceeded to make two more tiny ice creams, without washing the spoon. Won't be coming here again!
